Original Release Date for this iPhone App: July 13, 2010
With this app installed, your iPhone can serve as a remote control for the iPad apps "2Screens - Presentation Expert" or "2Screens LE" for switching pages/slides during a presentation, as well as enabling/suppressing display on the external screen when the iPad is connected with a projector or LCD monitor.
Communication between the iPad presentation app and iPhone remote control app is through Bluetooth connections. In this regard, the app only works on iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and second/third generation iPod Touch which have support for Bluetooth 2.1. Please note that this app cannot be used on first generation iPhone and first generation iPod Touch.
This app is NOT a general-purpose remote control for iPad as it only works with the 2Screens apps.
The Remote app auto-disable idle timer when bluetooth connection is established so as to prevent losing connection with the Presentation app.
It is confirmed that all Bluetooth-related problems that were seen when iOS 4.0.x is in use no longer appear after upgrading to iOS 4.1. So please upgrade to iOS 4.1 in case you encounter any connectivity issues when trying to connect the iPhone Remote app with the iPad.
