About Kids is a series of stories that deal with feelings children may have about themselves. Feelings they understand and those they do not. Each story touches on the 'differences' children feel (and perhaps those that we as adults feel now or felt as children) and helps us to recognize just how common they really are.
The goal of this series is to touch on some common feelings and help children put them into perspective. It is also intended to be a resource for parents who wish to help their children explore the feelings they have about themselves.
"Things Happen" is the first book in the About Kids series. |
