AltParkNYC allows you to quickly and easily find out whether Alternate Side Parking Regulations in NYC are suspended or in effect, the reason for suspension, as well as information on any temporary regulations by DOT, DOS or PD.
Application operates in three modes:
1. Today/Tomorrow - is what you see once application has loaded. It provides you with the status of parking regulations for today and tomorrow and displays messages or alerts regarding temporary regulations (if there are any).
2. Calendar mode - provides you with an interactive calendar for the entire year, and allows you to clearly see when the regulations are suspended and if there are any messages or alerts regarding temporary rules. Since Alternate Side Parking Regulations are suspended during 34 Legal and Religious holidays - you get a Holiday Calendar as a bonus!
3. List Mode - lists all dates when the regulations are suspended, and if there are any messages or alerts.
You can tap on any message to get more details, usually with a link to a press-release or a pdf.
